Our Tuesday Night Music Series continues January 26th with Noah Harris. Swing by for some serious food, drinks & music.
Noah Harris (born August 1st, 1981) is an American country music and folk singer-songwriter from the corn belt of east central Illinois. Harris was born in his father’s native farm town of Tolono, IL. He spent his formative years in Champaign-Urbana, and the last decade living and writing in Chicago. In October of 2014, Harris transplanted to San Antonio, Texas, along with his wife, painter (and San Antonio native) Madison Turner.
Noah Harris’s music is heavily influenced by the Texas songwriting tradition of Wille Nelson, Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, George Jones, Roy Orbison, and the like. Harris has a big, clean singing voice, reminiscent of the country stars of the early 70’s; the voices of Charlie Rich, George Jones, and Charley Pride are brought to mind.
